Anushka Sharma is a Bollywood actress and producer. She is among the highest-paid actresses, and was awarded numerous accolades in recognition of her work. Anushka began giving film auditions alongside her modelling. Anushka was first seen in a role of acting with Shah Rukh Khan opposite Anushka. In one of them, she performed the part of a young bride of a middle-aged man (the part Shah Rukh Khan was playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka appeared with Shahid Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das and Meiyang Chang in the 2010 movie "Badmash Company". The movie got mixed reviews. Anushka appeared as a Punjabi girl from the middle class in a film called 'Band Baaja Baaraat.' She starred alongside Ranveer. The movie received a great reception and was a huge success. Anushka completed her three-film deal in partnership with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
